OMI is JIOS’s third model-a quartz dress watch in a classic, time-honoured style with a small-seconds sub-dial. Because we want as many people as possible to experience a JIOS watch, we’ve kept pricing as accessible as we can. The compact 35 mm case echoes vintage proportions, blending classic cues with a modern sensibility. With a wide range of colour combinations, OMI is designed to be easy to wear for both men and women.
We obsess over materials and details. The strap is a Tochigi Leather NATO-style leather strap that we developed from the ground up. Paired with a Japanese quartz movement (SEIKO EPSON VL58) and AR-coated sapphire crystal, the specification delivers performance and refinement that genuinely exceed its price.
Through years of refinement, the craftsmen at the Tochigi Leather tannery have achieved a supple yet robust vegetable-tanned (nume) leather-widely regarded as a top-grade material meticulously crafted by master artisans. Nume leather becomes softer and molds to your wrist the more you use it. Its natural aging (patina) brings a deep, matured character that is uniquely appealing. The true charm of carefully made leather is that, over time, it shapes itself to its owner.
